Any boys in Grade 5 or 6 interested in playing junior basketball this year should meet Mr. Dinner and Ms. Labelle for a very brief meeting today at the beginning of 2nd break outside Ms. Conway’s office to sign up and get a permission form.

Eco Club is moving closer to it’s goal with your donations of used books OPP. Our goal is to collect about 1000 books and we already have collected over 400 books. We are counting on your support OPP. If everyone brings at least 2 books, it is an easy goal to reach. Write in your agendas to help you remember.

All the funds will be used to cover the cost of Phase-3 of our Learning Garden. Bring book OPP and show support for our learning garden.

All grade 5 to 8 members of ECO CLUB and Spirit Club members meet Mrs. Sharma, Mrs. Warford, and Miss Harris in the LIBRARY today during the second nutrition break. It is an important meeting and an opportunity to lead activities, but you must attend today’s meeting.

Junior Battle of the Books will be cancelled today as Mrs Youngblut will be taking a  group of our players to represent Orchard Park at the Burlington Public Library Junior Battle of the Books tournament. Good luck to those competing; we know that you will do a great job facing other schools across Halton!

Our regular school Battle of the Books teams will meet as usual next week.

Today’s intramurals is gr 5/6 cornerball. The teams who play are Impact, Rapids, Timbers and Earthquake. If you signed up, PLEASE come down to play at 10:55.. Your team needs you!

Senior Girls soccer tryouts start today. Meet Mlle Conway at the soccer field 2nd half of second break! Please bring your form if you haven’t handed it in yet.

There will be a primary choir practise today at first break in Mrs. Hayes’ classroom, Room 214.  See you there.
