ORCHARD PARK - Tuesday May 8, 2018

Here is the mental health announcement for today: Mental health is about more than being happy all the time. It’s about feeling good about who you are, having balance in your life, and managing life’s highs and lows.

Everyone deserves to feel well, whatever their mental health experience. We all need a support system to lean on.

We all need help sometimes. How can you make your school a place where everyone knows they belong? Who are the people at school and in the community that can help you?

Junior girls basketball team, please meet briefly at the beginning of first break in Mrs. Naccarato’s office.

Primary and Grade 5/6 Eco Club will NOT meet today due to a teacher meeting. We will see you next week!

A reminder to the Junior/Intermediate choir that we have an important rehearsal today at 2nd break in the music room.

Welcome to author Andrew Larsen who is here today to speak to kindergarten to grade 5 students. Classes please wait to be called to the library for your presentation.

Battle of the Books will have a year end celebration tomorrow at first break. Both junior and senior members of Battle of the Books clubs are invited to the library tomorrow at first break.

Birthday Book Club Greetings go out to Cassidy M in Mrs Blanchard’s & Ms Schaller’s class, and to David S in Mr Colman’s class.  These students are celebrating their birthdays at school by donating new books to our library.

Thank you from your friends at Orchard Park for your generous donation!

Orchard Park remember to be respectful to yourself and others.

Have a Terrific Tuesday!
