Today is Bully Awareness Spirit Day! How is your class celebrating? Bully prevention quote of the day: You can't be against bullying without actually doing something about it.

The rehearsal today with Mr Vize at 1st break for scene’s 1-3 is cancelled. Please practice  with the music that was shared with you on the drive.

Scene 1 - 4 actors are to meet with Ms. Hunt and Ms. Lestition in the music room at 2nd break today for blocking. Bring your script and your lunch.

Intramurals today - grade 7/8 dodgeball at first break - teams are HotDodgers and Throwbocops - supervisor is Mrs Gray

Any students who wish to make purchases at the book fair today are asked to please wait until they are invited to the library by class.  Student volunteers will come around to invite interested students who have brought money to come to the book fair in small groups.  The fair will also be open both breaks for J/I students, as well as this evening until 8pm and tomorrow until noon.  Thank you!

“Look, Lorax, calm down. There’s no cause for alarm. I chopped just one tree, I’m doing no harm. This thing is most useful! This thing is a ‘thneed.’ A thneed, a fine something-that-all-people-need! It’s a shirt. It’s a sock. It’s a glove! It’s a hat! But it has other uses, yes, far beyond that. You can use it for carpets, for pillows, for sheets, for curtains! Or covers for bicycle seats!” - Dr. Seuss

Tomorrow is ‘Buy Nothing Day’! Did you know that Ontario generates 500,000 tonnes of clothing and textile waste every year? So tomorrow, take on our school’s challenge and ask yourself ‘do I really need this’ before you buy something new.

Unfortunately we had to cancel yesterday’s dodgeball intramurals because of the poinsettia set up in the gym. We will run that game today at 2nd break. - teams are Vipers vs Dragons - supervisor is Mr Hummel and student leaders are Koen and Ethan

Sr Girls Volleyball practice Monday 8 am.
