ORCHARD PARK - Thursday April 12, 2018

posted 12 Apr 2018, 06:32 by Sherri Livingstone

Today’s grade 7/8 floor hockey game is Senators vs Canadiens. Please come down at 10:55 to play.

I believe we should Recognize 3 students here at Orchard Park who will be performing at Hamilton Place in the Halton Music Showcase tonight. We would like to congratulate Margaret L, Allison M and Emel B for their time, talents and commitment rehearsing with the Intermediate Winds Band in preparation for tonight’s event. Orchard Park is very proud of you and we know you will represent our school with great dignity. Good Luck and well done!

Eco Club wants to say thank you to all the families and teachers who have donated books to support our used book drives. We have collected 462 books already. We still need to collect more books. If you haven’t shared a book yet, please bring one and help us raise funds for the learning garden. You can do it OPP!

Congratulations to those members of the Junior Battle of the books team who represented Orchard Park very well at the city competition yesterday. We will resume our regular club play next Wednesday.

There will be an important senior battle of the books meeting today at second break.

Read & Relax is cancelled today for grades 1-5. Readers are welcome to come at second break.

Birthday Book Club Greetings go to Anisa in Mme Saig's class and Preston in Mr. Colderley's class. These students are celebrating their birthdays today by donating a book to our library!

Thank you from your friends at Orchard Park for your generous donation.

Orchard Park remember to include others in your activities!

Have a Thoughtful Thursday.
