EARTH DAY is on April 22nd this year. To honour Earth Day, ECO Club would like to organize a reused book sale.

We are asking all of you to look through your book shelves and find a few gently used books that you wouldn’t mind giving away.  We will be collecting books until April 20th and then run a BOOK SALE during the week of April 23rd until April 30th.

Our goal is to collect about 1000 books and then sell them for only for $2:00. You get to recycle, buy books for cheap and have a collection of new books that will come in handy for the summer reading.

All the funds will be used to cover the cost of Phase-3 of our Learning Garden. Bring book OPP and show support for our learning garden.

All grade 7,8 members of ECO CLUB meet Mrs. Sharma in Rm 206 during the first NB.

Senior Soccer is starting next week!! Have you handed in your permission form to Mlle Conway?? All tryout forms must be handed in before the first tryout!! Boys will play on Tuesday and girls will play Wednesday. Both practices will be 2nd half of 2nd break on the soccer field. Please come prepared to play in the cold weather!

Last Night your OPP Senior Girls Basketball Team played Florence Meares in the playoff final. The girls played a very strong game with excellent defense but unfortunately were defeated by Florence Meares. Mr. Plant and Mme. Lee would like to thank all of the girls for demonstrating awesome work ethic, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude all season. Congratulations on bringing home a division banner to Orchard Park, way to go girls!

There will be a brief meeting for the Senior Girls Basketball Team at the beginning of first break in Mme. Lee’s room #113.

Orchard Park remember to always be kind to yourself and others!

Have a Fantastic Friday
